I'm sure you've all heard the saying, "and the meek shall inherit the earth." I like to imagine "the meek" as the energy of poets and angels. Yes, you know who you are. You are the ones hanging out on the fringes of society, peering in with the longing to belong somehow, but knowing, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that you'd rather die than join this mess of a nightmare. (read my article Calling All Angels for more on this.) You are the ones that have basically felt this way since you were a kid. You are the ones who have always wondered what the hell you are doing here. You are the ones who have suffered every degree of hardship and adversity, and yet still valiantly soldiered on, following some profoundly rooted sense of inner knowing that Love is your mission here and you will not give up, though sometimes you really, really want to. You are the ones whose inner worlds are steeped in the magical, the beautiful, and the sweet mystery of divine invisible Gods and Goddesses, and whose only outer world of safety is the beauty of Mother Nature. You are the ones who might say something like this to the ones who think they know you... "You do not. You cannot climb inside my heart and know the place I call home. You cannot know that's where I swim with dolphins and play hide and seek with angels and antelopes. You cannot know the songs I sing as joy escapes my heart, or know the fields of wildflowers that never end and neither does my youth. You cannot know the skies I see, or hear the music that I play, or taste the freedom of my timelessness, or watch the butterflies carry me away. You cannot know that in this place, I become all that I am...free of the chains that weigh me down, free of your judgements that make me falter...free from you, oh mad, mad world - you who think you know me." But here's the thing... It's time. It's time to yield, to soften, to open those wings... It's time to drop all the self-protective defences we may very well have needed to make it this far. It's time to do the job we came here to do. And it's not like we've been sitting around twiddling our thumbs. We've been learning HOW TO BE HERE! No small feat to go against the grain of mass consciousness. I bet you are one who is even out of a 3D job, or who has given up their 3D job and have been wondering how you are going to make it through yet another day of what feels like a life threatening sense of massive uselessness from living in the "IN-BETWEEN TIME." Dear poets and angels... The healing is in your hands. Use them now. The healing is in your words. Speak them now. The healing is in your eyes. Shine them now. The healing is in your wisdom. Share it now. The healing is in your heart...your poet's heart. Express it now. But more than anything... The healing is in your Presence. Be Here Now ...and the still, small voice said, "Speak now of invitation rather than protection. Invite the world gone mad into your world of angels and antelopes, of dolphins and wildflowers, of timelessness and freedom. Express rather than implode. Shine rather than hide. Be the poet. Be the lover. Be the liquid light of Love. You are ready now, and the world is waiting for a miracle." © Copyright 2011 - Heather Fraser - All Rights Reserved |
